SHIPPING POLICY

Introduction:

At Franklins Farm we are dedicated to delivering our fresh, high-quality meat and food products directly to your doorstep with care and efficiency. This Shipping Policy outlines our practices and procedures to ensure that your order arrives in excellent condition and within the expected timeframe.

Shipping Services:

1.     Delivery Areas: We currently deliver across the UK mainland using a 3rd party 24 hour UK Courier.

2.     Dispatch Times: Orders are typically dispatched on Wednesdays for Thursday delivery.  For Christmas Orders, the last UK Courier delivery date will be 2/3 working days before Christmas Day.  There are no deliveries between Christmas Day & New Years Day.

3.     Delivery Times: Once dispatched, the standard delivery time within our service area is 24 hours. Please note that delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions or logistical disruptions.

4.     Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order and the delivery location. Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout before you complete your order.

5.     Packaging: To ensure the freshness and safety of your order, all products are packed in insulated packaging with ice packs. We are committed to sustainability and encourage the recycling or reuse of our packaging materials.

6.     Tracking: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track the progress of your delivery on our carrier’s website.

7.     Receiving Your Order: Please ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery at the specified address. If you are not able to be present, consider providing an alternative delivery address at the time of order, or clear instructions on where the parcel can be left safely. Due to the perishable nature of our products, it is crucial that they are not left unattended or exposed to adverse weather conditions.

8.     Missed/Failed Deliveries: In the event of a missed delivery, our carrier will leave a notice and instructions for rescheduling. Please contact us or the carrier as soon as possible to arrange another delivery attempt. Repeated failed delivery attempts may result in additional charges or cancellation of the order.
